Explore the theatre! Get in touch with us to organise a backstage tour for your students or community group. Uncover the secrets of performance, take a snoop in our dressing rooms and let our technicians teach you the tricks of the trade. Why not link your visit with seeing a show?

A free education pack is now available for primary schools thoughout to help you make the most of your trip to the theatre.
Download your education pack at the bottom of this page. It would be great for us to have any feedback about its use and quality, so we can continually improve our resources. Email us at carriageworks@leeds.gov.uk for any feedback.

We have also an education pack for Beauty and the Beast to accompany your visit with activities.


Complementing the Curriculum
Leeds Central Library, the Art Gallery and Leeds City Museum are just a stone's throw from The Carriageworks. We are working with both of them to offer you unique, tailor-made packages that will enable you to visit both the theatre and the library or museum for a range of activities. These can include a show, workshops, storytelling, literacy support and backstage tours.

Great Deal for School and Group Transport     




    

Don't let the cost of transport stop you coming to the theatre! To help, we have partnered with Metro Buses to bring you a special deal. MyBus, the yellow school bus from Metro, will pick you up and drive you back to your school after the show. The bus holds up to 57 people, all with seatbelts, and the deal is a mere £160 all in - that's as low as £2.80 per person.

*Terms and conditions apply. Booking has to be made two weeks prior to the performance. Travel must be to and from Leeds City Council venues. Offer valid for schools and groups within the Leeds district. This deal is available for specified shows. Cost of theatre ticket not included. Ticket deals are available via the central office.
